Boom Supersonic / Chief of Staff / 2026

I am probably not the Chief of Staff candidate you had in mind.

I’ve already been a VP. I’ve run a $280M business. I’m 46 years old.
And I’d take this job.

Here’s why
01 / Why I’d take this job

Why does a former VP want to be Chief of Staff?

At this point in my career, access to the hardest problems matters more to me than title.

I’m looking for the most interesting problem I can find, where the breadth of what I’ve learned over my career is an advantage rather than something I have to explain.

02 / What I do, quickly
Operator
Owned ThredUp’s core marketplace P&L and led it to its first profitable quarters.
Builder
Built ML systems in production, led data science, and created the experimentation infrastructure we used to make decisions across the business.
Fixer
When an important problem doesn’t fit neatly inside one function, that’s usually where I end up.
03 / Why Boom

Why Boom?

Because it’s audacious.

I never got to fly on Concorde. I hate that. We used to cross the Atlantic at twice the speed of sound. Then we stopped.

Plenty of smart people think what you’re trying to do won’t work. Maybe they’re right. But you’re actually trying to bring something extraordinary back into the world.

I want in.
